Prior to joining HWF in 1999, Dave worked as Assistant Director of the University-Community Outreach Program in Philadelphia, and served as a Workforce Learning Consultant at the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning, where he helped organizations design and implement workforce-learning systems.
Dave is an evaluation and program development consultant who focuses on projects that promote youth development. Dave has helped develop models on topics including involving youth in HIV prevention planning and creating family learning opportunities within local arts and cultural institutions. His analytic abilities create value for philanthropic and community-based organizations interested in developing performance objectives, measurable outcomes, and methods to collect data.

career path reflects her strong values to promote public health and welfare, particularly for children. Before joining HWF in 2001, Jennifer served as the Director of the New Haven Commission on Infant and Child Health, a public/private initiative to foster the well-being of children and their families, and as a Program Officer at the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven.
At HWF, Jennifer has coordinated many of the firm's multi-stakeholder public health planning projects such as the development of statewide plans for the prevention and care of chronic diseases including asthma, diabetes, cancer, obesity, and HIV/AIDS. Jennifer has played a pivotal role in assisting the Connecticut Department of Public Health to redefine its chronic disease and prevention model and to establish its collaborative process for integrating HIV/AIDS care and prevention planning as a nationally-recognized model. Jennifer enjoys supporting the process of moving diverse groups towards common goals and solutions. Jennifer holds a Master's in arts and religion from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts from Albertus Magnus College.

traveled to Europe to play professional basketball after earning his Bachelor's Degree from Williams College. Upon returning to the U.S., Michael first served as a counselor at a transitional living program for homeless teenagers in Boston, and then worked in donor relations at the Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund, the largest donor-advised philanthropic fund in the country.
Michael joined HWF after earning a Master's in Business Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from Yale University in 2005. Michael's work at HWF has focused primarily on workforce development, social services, and education. Michael enjoys projects that place him on the "front lines" as well as those that involve business strategy development, program evaluation, and report and grant writing. He has played a key role in several successful federal grant proposals. Michael also utilizes his Spanish fluency to take a leadership role in project work involving Spanish-speaking stakeholders.
