These are some recent examples of our work in philanthropy.

The Pew Charitable Trusts - Strategic Planning - HWF provided instrumental planning and program design support in the development of The Neighborhood Preservation Initiative, a special project to promote the growth and stability of urban working class neighborhoods.

The William Caspar Graustein Memorial Fund - Planning Support - HWF supports the Memorial Fund's Discovery Communities and their partners who pursue objectives such as expanding the supply of high quality early education, improving the quality of existing early education, strengthening the connections between early care and elementary education, and improving student social, emotional, and academic performance.

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation - Program Evaluation - HWF provided evaluation services for the start-up and early performance of the Corporation for Supportive Housing, a national intermediary launched by the Ford Foundation, the Pew Charitable Trusts, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to assist local nonprofits to develop service-enriched, permanent housing for special needs populations including homeless adults and families, battered women, and people living with AIDS.
